I'm a salsa connoisseur which makes me a salsa snob and I judge Mexican restaurants on that first and foremost and I'm telling you this place has some excellent salsas! Their house salsa has a flavor I've only had a few times in my life and it's always been south of the border. I asked for their verde sauce which in Jacksonville restaurants is typically a bland mild sauce. But not here, it had a true verde kick to it and was a flavor bomb to boot. The food was excellent but this is easily a place I would come in on the regular and chill some margaritas and chips & salsa. The staff was over the top friendly as well so the place will see me again and again, highly recommend!
